Having issue booting HP 9000 rp7420

[HP RX4640]

The server does not see the DVD I have checked all connections and also replaced the PCI power supplys.

I have 1 x CELL A6913A with 1 x AB309A 8GB KIT and 4 X A6437A pa8800 1.0Ghz CPU's in CELL slot 1?

I can not get it to boot in cell slot 0.

ANY SUGGESTION WOULD GREATLY HELP?????

If you have only 1 cell it must be in slot 1!

The internal DVD drive is connected to cell 1 too by default.

Cell is in slot one.. I replaced the DVD still the same issue. SEA sees both installed drives but still not the DVD... I'm stumpped.

Internal Disk Devices for the HP 9000 rp7420 Server
In an HP 9000 rp7420 Server, the top internal disk drives connect to cell 1 through the core I/O for cell 1.
Both of the bottom disk drives connect to cell 0 through the core I/O for cell 0.

The CD/DVD/DAT drive connects to cell 1 through the core I/O card for cell 1.

Do you have the offline diags CD? You can download an ISO from software.hp.com (PA version). If you run mapper, the output is similar to an ioscan.

You can also try to get all the "PS" outputs from

MP:CM>

maybe this will give more information ...
