Re: Hi
welcome to the forum.
Your A-Class is based on PA-RISC technology.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Hi
Welcome to the forums.
The A class was renamed by HP to the rp2400 several years ago. There were several models available:
rp2430
rp2450
rp2470
If you run the command:
model
from the root prompt it should give you an idea which you have.
Manual can be found here:
http://docs.hp.com/en/hw.html#HP%209000%20rp2400%20Server%20%28A400%20and%20A500%29

Re: Hi
9000/800/A500-6X
This is a rp2470 with 650MHz PA8700 CPU(s). This unit will either have 1 or 2 of these CPUs - check with:
ioscan -kCprocessor
There's a system overview available here:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/genericDocument?lc=en&cc=us&docname=c00352422
The manuals I've already pointed you at.

Re: Hi
You can also run the print_manifest utility.
This utility prints a formatted ASCII system manifest to stdout. The manifest includes information on hardware and software installed and configured on the system. It gathers information about the system every time it is run.
kind regards
