How many Memory Carriers are on my L3000 class server ?

I have several L3000 servers.
One of them (server A) has got 8 GB in 2 memory carriers.
Other (server B)have 4 GB in 1 memory carrier.

I got this info by means of CSTM tool.

My problem is that I don't know if server B has got other memory carriers UNUSED (no DIMM plugged) and NOT REPORTED by cstm.

EITHER
Is the number of memory carriers increased according they are needed (i.e. new memory carriers are added when memory is enlarged) ?
OR
the number of memory carriers are fixed in factory and CSTM cannot detect until a DIMM is plugged on it ?

Do you know the max number of memory carriers for a rp5470 ?

The second carrier is an orderable option.

The L3000 have always min. 1 memory carrier, a second one is an option. To be sure that you don't have an *empty* carrier installed (unlikely), run cstm info tool on the system, you will get an information like this for every carrier between the output:

You will see the same information while doing a

The maximum number of carriers is 2.
