How to enter BCH menu?
I'm sorry for a newbie question.
I have only remote connection to the server HP 9000 rp3440 (pa-risc).
I connect via telnet, power on the server. And what next should I do?
When I enter Configuration menu (CO) the only message "Live console output" is promted.

Re: How to enter BCH menu?
Check if you have option to see vfp (virtual front panel). if yes you can see which internal cxhecks are going on during post.
BCH will be available on console after few minutes...please keep your eye busy

Re: How to enter BCH menu?
I've checked the VFP and found that an error had occured. I've checked the system log: BMC reports that 'No signal recieved from system's firmware'.
And the system's state turns to off. It happened after the power supply was off for several days. And HP-UX doesn't boot now.
I thought, that if I could enter BCH menu then I would be able to manage this problem.
And what's next?

Re: How to enter BCH menu?
Need power up the server with MP command line.
then need to monitor VFP and have a look on system console.
IF you have physical access to server then try hard power off/on.
Please always put points to replies you get, so this can be judged how benificial some reply to you :)

Re: How to enter BCH menu?
"System state is off" means that neither OS code nor non-OS code is runing.

Re: How to enter BCH menu?
I power on the server and enter vfp:
system state is runing non-OS code (diagnostics or booting). After several minutes system's state turns to off and there is a warining entry in system log with description: "No signal recieved from system firmware".
