How to find out Firmware version on HP9000 D360 and K460 servers?. Whats is the minimum firmware version required for installing HP-UX 11i?. Where and how to download the firmware patches?. How to install firmware on the server?. Please help.

I've installed HP-UX 11i on a K460 with firmware rev. 39.12 without any problems.

ITRC home -> individual patches -> firmware -> cpu -> enter keyword: "K460" and will find 41.33 and "Dx60" and will find 36.43

Hi,

If you have STM installed on the system, you can find the firmware version using this command,

# echo "selclass qualifier cpu;info;wait;infolog"|cstm > /tmp/procinfo

More the procinfo file and get the current firmware from there.

Try this to find the latest firmware for the cpu and downlaod and install if required.
