How to mount a SAN storage to HP9000 Server?

I'm planing to attach a HBA to a HP9000 server in order to connect to a SUN Storage Area Network. This HP9000 server is running of HPUX 11.0 version with veritas file system. Can anyone help to guide me how to mount this new volume to the server?

Re: How to mount a SAN storage to HP9000 Server?

1)Install the HBA and the patches
2) Connect the fiber chanel in the switch
3) Configure the zoning, if the switch is brocade , install the lasted firmware and configure using http or telnet switch_ip_addr
4) Create the luns and the storage group
5) ioscan -fn
6) insf -e
7) ioscan -fnC disk (and verify the luns, if you use 2 HBA??s)
8) pvcreate /dev/rdsk/devices
9) vgcreate /dev/vg_??? list of primary devices
10) vgextend /dev/vg_??? list of alternates links (if you use more then one HBA)
11) lvcreate
12) newfs
13) mount
