How to turn off lights on L1000?

Hi,

we had a problem with an L1000 machine today, the external disk array had a kind of cache overflow (not an HP product).
This IDE disk array also contains the system disk and is the primary boot path.
I reset the array and rebooted the machine, now everything is back to normal - except that the Attn LED is blinking orange, Fault is red and Remote is on.

How can I turn it off (while machine remains up)?

Go into the GSP and view the logs to get the ATTN light.

If the FAULT is red, you sure nothing else is happening?

The REMOTE can be set in the GSP as well.

You need to review the GSP logs - that will turn the light off. Go to the console, hit Ctrl B, then enter "sl" (for show logs), "e" (for error), and "n" (for no filtering), after you review the logs, hit "q", then enter "co" to return to console mode.

Re: How to turn off lights on L1000?

the ATTN might be red from the systems inability to write a dump upon the storage system failure, but as already said You should check the GSP logs in any case!
yesterday I stood at the edge. Today I'm one step ahead.
