Hu Un 11i Management Console Time
Hi, Using telnet of Management IP showing time is 03:00:00 and telnet of Server IP showing time 08:55:00. So I want to keep the both time same. So Please guide me how to change the time of Management Console.

Re: Hu Un 11i Management Console Time
Management Console? Do you mean Management Processor (MP or GSP in older models)?
The Management Processor will always use UTC/GMT time. This cannot be changed.
When the system time is changed (by using the "date" command as root), the system uses the currently-configured timezone rules to convert the inputted time to UTC time, and automatically copies that time to the system clock and the management processor. If your timezone settings are not correct, this process will produce an incorrect UTC time.
All Unix-like systems use UTC time internally. In user-readable output, UTC is automatically converted back to local time.
Use "date -u" to display the UTC time, to verify your timezone settings.
NTP time synchronization and email timestamps both use UTC: if your system uses NTP or sends email, your timezone settings must be correct.
