INIT C440 AP Console error when booting D220 server

when I boot my HP9000 D220 server it does not come up successfully it fails
during the hardware diagnostic phase.. with an error on the status display of
'INIT C440 AP CONSOLE'
I have got around this problem before by pressing a ctrl + a key but I don't
know what key..
Anyone hit this before and knows what key to press during boot up?

This was a response that I got by email.. and it resolved my issue.. so I am
posting it here just incase someone else may need it...

You might try reseting the console. If it is a 700 series console than hold
down the D key while power cycling the console. You should hold the d key down
for about 10 seconds after turning the power back on.
After 10 seconds, hit the enter key and you should get a message saying default
configuration used. Hit enter a couple of times and see if you
error message goes away.
