Q1.What power input phase does HP rp5470 and HP rp2470 use : Single/3 phase with 50hx or 60hz?
Q2. From PDU to main power source, what is the option to use (30Am,60Am, 16Amp?)
Q3. In a fully populated server rack with 4xrp5470 , what is the total power consumption of all the servers (in Voltage?)
Q4. In a fully populated server rack with 4xrp2470 , what is the total
power consumption of all the servers (in Voltage?
Country in question: Singapore.
Thanks
Val

Solutionlet???s see if we can find some answers for you:
Q1: one phase is sufficed for both systems. Beside that is it possible to connect the 3 power supplies of the rp5470 to different phases (it???s not necessary but gives you the chance that the server stay up and running when one phase fails)
You can operate the systems either on 50Hz or 60Hz. The powersupplies are designed to run on both frequencies.
Q2: You need a cable with a C15 connector for the systems
Q4: the typical power consumption of the rp2470 is 1200W

Re: Input Power Phase for HP server for use in Singapore
Patrick, that the typical power dissipation of an rp5470 series, not rp2470.
For the rp2470, 350W is a more reasonable value.
