This does not answer your question directly but if HP will not fix the HW for mega-$$ then there are plenty of capable 3rd party vendors that will.
As well as the potential for you to purchase the parts @ a parts store and fix yourself.

( just another option )

Shalom,

The end of support date for HP-UX 11.11 is December 31, 2013.

That is when OS support for the workstation ends.

Hardware support seems to end a year earlier December 31, 2012, though I may be wrong about that and support may already be over.

The system is very near obsolete end of life at this time as is the only OS it is certified for.
