Hi, the only parts you can use are:

- precision bus cards (SCSI, Network etc., not the Core I/O)
- terminal
- external mux panel

CPUs & Memory modules are incompatible with the K-Class.

hi,

The only thing you can use is the HPPB cards in the G series.
example, network card and scsi cards in left hand side of the box viewed from the back.

mem/proc/coreio/disks are all different.

Hi,

And don't forget the network transceivers on the network adapters, with the metal brackets. You can re-use them on some cisco equipment too. :-)

That old G class system has little or no use it preceeds the HP-PB architecture. The internal drives S.E. SCSI, that old system really does not have much use other than a boat anchor.

hi guys,

It seems your wasting your time answering as Adriatico obviously doesnt appreciate the answers people spend time giving, as he very rarely assigns point to anybody.
