J3591A Web Console
I am running 2 N4000 and 2 K class servers with Web consoles connect to the console port. We recently had to load the Sun java runtimes and remove the microsoft java runtime on our PC's. Ater the switchout the web consoles no longer function correctly. The colors are off (i can handle this) but some of the keys on the keyboard no longer work correctly. On HP KBRC00014458 says to use Mozilla browser. Mozzila is not supported on our corp loads. the KB also says this product is at end of life and no support is planned. My questions are
1. is there any other work arounds?
2. Is there a replacment product which will work?
Thanks...

Re: J3591A Web Console
You might want to contact HP and see if there is a firmware update for the web console. We recently added Sun Java to our image and had the same behavior, except the devices still seemed to function.
They are supposed to send the needed java to the PC. It never worked well with browsers other than IE though.
Since I have the same device, I might be able to help.

Re: J3591A Web Console
Hi Jim
For the N-Classes you can use the GSP instead of the web console. But for the K's you are a little stuck.
