Re: K-570 15-pin D-sub for on green video signal

hi,

These servers do not ahve graphics output as standard.
You would need to have one of the optional video cards installed, but these have a evc type interface. you would then need an evc-vga adapter.
The only ones that came as standard with graphics are the Kx60xp versions.
It is normal to just configure/use a serial terminal on these hp9000 servers.

Re: K-570 15-pin D-sub for on green video signal

there are two types of graphics cards that can go into the K class servers, the A3519A and the A2999A. The A3519A is an Visualize-EG card that goes into the HSC slot on your K box, it has an EVC out-put port so you would need an EVC to 15-pin Dsub adapter cable (1253-0635 - $17.00 at HP) to use this one. The A2999A is a 1280x1024 2D graphics card and it has a 15-pin Dsub out-put on the card so no adapter cable is needed. HP Part Surfer says both A3519A & A2999A are no longer supplied but they are commonly found on ebay.

Hope this helps
