K-Class (380 and 580) are end of life ?

Hello,

Is HP already announced that the K-Class (380 and 580) models are end of life, and will not be supported in the near future??

Regards,
Nikee

The K580 is still supported as far as I know. I don't know about the K380.

I have just renewed hardware maintenance on a K580 and there is not any end of support listed on my contract for the machine.

Hi Nikee,

I thought they both were EOL allready, EOS is a different subject. If you ask HP to support those servers they will ask a high fee for it. Thats HP little way of forcing you to stay up to date (easier to support)That fee is probably higher than a buying a new server + support. I know a new server can mean an upgrade and i do not know your application life cycle so it is up to you to diside whats best.

HTH,

Gideon
