K-Class SCSI Initiator

I have a K-Class server. How does one change the SCSI initiator ID from 7 to 6. Under the SERvice menu, there does not appear to be a SCSI option. ANy help

Re: K-Class SCSI Initiator

Hi Paul,

you have to set the dip-switches directly on the card.

Hope this helps!

Re: K-Class SCSI Initiator

There should be a hard physical switch on the card that you can set.

It's a binary bit pattern so it should currently be set to 111 and you would need to set it to 110.

Re: K-Class SCSI Initiator

Shalom,

This card is indeed operated by dip switches, similar to my D boxes at home.

The part number is printed on the card. A google or hp serach will yeild documents that say how to change the id on that card.

Such a quick response. I will check and see what transpires.

Re: K-Class SCSI Initiator

Thanx The DIP switches were easily visible and easily configurable.
