K100 Memory Error
C 440 Memory Error need some insite on a resolution on this old box.

Michael,
Generally a C440 happens when the system is booting up and you see the system
stuck at "init C440". This is when the system is trying to initialize the
system console path and is not a memory error.
This happens a lot when the system console configurations have been changed.
If you are using one of the HP700 terminals as the system console, you can set
it back to default configuration by doing the following:
Turn the terminal off.
Power the terminal back on while holding down the "d" key.
After a several seconds, depending on the model of HP700, let the "d" key back
up.
After a couple more seconds you should get a message saying "default configs
used". Hit the "return" key and this message is cleared and the terminal is now
back to default configurations.
This should work for talking to HP systems.
