Hi all,
I need to know if exists some comparison between a K370 and a L1000 servers. I want to know the performances of both servers with 2 proccessors and 2 Gb of memory each one.
Thanks in advance.

Re: K370 VS L1000
Manuel
The L1000 will be the way to go if you are busy picking between them. It is defficult to compare them since they use different bus and memory architectures and the CPU speeds on the L1000 is drastically faster, saying that the L1000 will be the one with the MUCH higher rating ... but I do not have any figures on me.
One thing to bear in mind, if the app that your trying to run on it requires ONLY HPUX 10.20 you will have to go with the K370 but for 11.00 and up to 11i the L1000 would be better.
Regards
Gerhard

Re: K370 VS L1000
I'm not sure that the performance specs are the main limiting factor. The K370 has been end of sales life since 2000, and end of Guaranteed Minimum Support (GMS) at the end of 2006. The L1000 has an extra 2 years on support over the K370.
