K580, A5158A & FC-Switch support
I have a K580 with an adapter A5158A.
I want to install hpux11i and I want to connect the box to an FC-Switch Connectrix EMC.
The driver for the fc-card support the FC-Switch connection?
Regards...
PSS

Re: K580, A5158A & FC-Switch support
You will need something like a A6685A (HSC bus connector) for your server.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: K580, A5158A & FC-Switch support
Get a list of your fibre channel device files:
# ioscan -fnCfc
Now get the the details for the device, e.g. /dev/td0
# fcmsutil /dev/td0 vpd
Post the results.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
