I have a problem with K580 server.
Server reboots with panic message.
I have the following messages in /var/tombstones/ts99
----------------- Processor 0 HPMC Information ------------------
HPMC Chassis Codes = 0xcbf0 0x5008 0x7d04 0x5408 0x5508 0x5608
----------------- Processor 1 HPMC Information ------------------
HPMC Chassis Codes = 0xcbf0 0x5108 0x7d04 0x5408 0x5508 0x5608
----------------- Processor 2 HPMC Information ------------------
HPMC Chassis Codes = 0xcbf0 0x5208 0x7d04 0x5408 0x5508 0x5608
----------------- Processor 3 HPMC Information ------------------
HPMC Chassis Codes = 0xcbf0 0x5308 0x7d04 0x5408 0x5508 0x5608
Can anybody give me the list of HPMC codes and it meanings.

Hi,
it may be a hardware problem, but it may also be a software problem (more probable, kernel I/O driver). Chassis Coder 7d04 means a memory write timed out which typically happens during a DMA transaction to a non existing address. It would be a good idea to install the latest hardware critical patches including network, scsi and fibre channel patches (everything that does DMA). If this does not help, ask your local HP response center which hardware to replace ...
