Re: Kclass End Of Life

I have a K 400 server onsite here and our end of support agreement is next year in oct. HP will no longer offer to renew the contract. We're pulling the plug on our server.

Re: Kclass End Of Life

I'm seeing D and K class boxes at end of life by the end of 2006. Same thing for 11.00 OS.

rp5470 or rp7420 are good PA-RISC replacements for the K class boxes. Good power, good expandability.

Depending on applicaton needs HP-UX 11i v2(11.23) can let you skip an entire OS upgrade cycle.

Re: Kclass End Of Life

The K-class gets phased out over time depending on when the specific model was discontinued. The K380 and K580 were the last to go out of production, so they will be the last supported. Some models may already be out of support. Tell us your specific model number.
