L1000 and modem

Is there a recommended modem that HP has for dialin support on a L1000 server?

Hi,

You can configure any modems for Dial-in. I've diferent brand modems configured for dal-in on my L-Class servers . Multitech modems are easy to configure and works well with dial-in.

Ok. Do you know what the part number is for the modem cable to connect the remote port....to the multitech modem? I have been trying to find that also. Thanks. I just don't want to order the wrong one!

Not off the top of my head, I'll check my cables at home and let you know, if an answer hasn't allready been posted.

Have fun
