Anybody have any idea about that? Of course he told me I would be able to find some documentation on this process, but everything I find about upgrading GSP is documentation on doing a hardware upgrade from like and RP5400 to an RP5430. It doesn't help me, that I can see.
So in a nutshell, I need help with the following:
1. What is the latest GSP version (this is an older L2000?
2. Where can I find documentation on performing the GSP upgrade?
3. Do I have to upgrade to version 14, then patch and then continue to upgrade up to versions 17 or 18?
I would greatly appreciate and light that can be shed on these matters for me.
Thanks,
-Bryan

Re: L2000 GSP upgrade help
I strongly recommend you read the install instructions on that GSP upgrade thoroughly. They are by no means normal or standard upgrades like the PDC. It pays to be prepared for this by having & testing access from a system on the GSP LAN subnet beforehand. And definitely run the checksums on those files prior to applying them because once the GSP gets hosed it's CE onsite time. You'd have to replace the GSP card to recover.
Rgds,
Jeff

Re: L2000 GSP upgrade help
Thanks a million for the info, that is very helpful seeing that this hardware is not yet on support. It's a refurb unit and I have to go through that 30 day grace period deal before it is on support.
Thanks,
-Bryan
