L2000 cpu problem

when i add tow cpus to my L2000 server,the led states is:run(off) attn(flashing) fault(flashing).
after gsp-->ss,show
Processor 0 is : Installed and Configured Processor 1 is : Not Installed
Processor 2 is : Not Installed
Processor 3 is : Installed and NOT CONFIGURED
please help me!

Hi,

I think you need to contact HP. In the mean time you can reset the server and check if you see all the CPU's after a cold reset. If not it you can disable/ the bad cpu and reset and boot and wait for HP instructions.

The system needs to have a Processor Support Module for each 2 CPU's in the system. Did you install a second PSM when you installed the additional 2 CPU's? The system is shipped only with enough PSM for the number of CPU's installed.

Hi,

I would need to have a look at GSP logs, you can get them by GSP>SL and selecting Error (no filter options). Possibly, processor 3 was deconfigured during selftest due to some problem.

Was this processor added recently?, Did you have any crash?
