L2000 reboot

Hi,
We have an L2000 (4 x 550mhz 3gb mem) that, since a recent aircon failure, has begun to reboot without warning, and at present may or may not get to BCH without appearing to recycle power.

GSP and PDC code is current, and platform monitor card was changed from initial pd of log below.

Only relevant info in GSP error log is :

However on inspection of the server, it is apparent that all of the fans (psu and io) repeatedly 'surge and die' , eventually appearing to trigger reboot.

I plan to replace power converter module next, and we have a spare system board on standby.

Is this scenario familiar to any of you. Any suggestions welcome.

My suspicion is that the power supply is hurt, since one of your symptoms is that the fans (on a +12V mechanical circuit) are surging. BTW, your drives are also on that circuit (to run the motors and tone arm) so I would recommend disconnecting the drives while diagnosing this problem

Thanks, So far have replaced the power converter. System has started without previous errors, though has warned of a fan (cabinet 1) failure. (GSP logs and in STM)
Fans checked, reseated (front and back swapped to boot) .
Has now rebooted without any errors (gsp logs and stm clear), and we are monitoring its stability.
