LIF and how to clear red fault light on HP9000

I'm trying to load a make_recovery tape from one HP9000 to another HP9000. I get the following error. "LIF" not prensent. I have loaded make_recovery to this system before.
Now, the server that i am loading too does not have all of the software loaded on it. could this be the problem. Also, how do you clear the red fault light on the HP9000. Can you let me Know where the documentation is for either of these problems.

Hello,

You'll get a red light if the system can't find a valid LIF. Next time it boots a legitimate LIF file the red light will go out.

Re: LIF and how to clear red fault light on HP9000

Red Fault light normally comes when there is seriuos problem to the system.Cross check it with the SL log going to GSP prompt.

For going to GSP, On console you need to login as root and once you get the prompt press . This will take you to the GSP.

Hope that helps.
