Re: Latest firmware revisions of servers
The firmware along with the procedure is located in the BSC.
Example for sx1000 based systems:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=2512361&swItem=ux-47147-1&prodNameId=2512363&swEnvOID=54&swLang=13&taskId=135&mode=4&idx=0
It is extremly important to use the right files for the system (sx1000/sx2000/lagacy) and follow the procedure step by step.
Anyway, I would strongly recommend to let the HP support do the upgrade.
Missing a step or doing it wrong may seriouly damage your system.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Latest firmware revisions of servers
You need to specify:
The type of SuperDome (Chipset etc)
The Current Firmware (MP>CM>SYSREV)
The type of SMS (Windows/HPUX)
There is no difinitive SuperDome F/W Upgrade method, it depends on a few variables.

Re: Latest firmware revisions of servers
As previously mentioned, better safe than sorry.........you may want to get HP involved to do the Firmware Upgrade. It may cost a few £'s/$'s, but can you take the risk?
