Re: MP Login console

Try the default MP login Admin/Admin, switch to console, stop at boot menu and try to boot into single user mode.

HPUX> boot vmunix -is

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: MP Login console

According to Torsten, try to reboot in single user mode OR in LVM maintenance mode :
-Stop boot process by hit any key
>boot pri
-Interact with IPL : Yes
-HPUX> hpux -lm

Re: MP Login console

By default password for Admin user is Admin

than press co

and choose the server name you want to login

than boot the machine into single user mode

hpux -is

Re: MP Login console

What is your server model,
below is the doc for boot sequence on integrity models

You dont have to comment out the file system to increase/unmount.
you can unmount the file system.
umount /mountpt
increase the size of the logical volume
lvextend -L /dev/vgname/lvolname
and then increase the filesystem.
extendfs -F vxfs /dev/vgname/rlvolname
if you have online jfs it can be done online without ummounting.
