Re: MP in rp7410
you can't connect to the console ???
1, you have physical access to the server ??
2, GSP ( LAN ), there is some configuration, do you know the IP ???

Re: MP in rp7410
if you have physical access to the server,
you oculd connect with a cross cable to the server and on the desktop/laptop you could set a IP from you range that have the GSP, for example GSPIP : 10.36.100.121 and your PCIP :
10.36.100.1 if your net is : 10.36.100.0/24

Re: MP in rp7410
I'am not sure that I understand what you are trying to say, I have physical access but the servers are shutdown.
I already try to log in a physical console to "MP Serial Port" true a serial cabel. But no luck ( in other's HPUX servers I can accomplish this easily ).
To log in to the servers first I have to power on the CABINET then the CELL true the MP.
Any one have more ideas ?
Thanks in advance.

Re: MP in rp7410
"...To log in to the servers first I have to power on the CABINET then the CELL true the MP..."
The MP works if power is present, no matter if the server is on or off.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
