Solution
Hi,
Would this work for you: product 24542M ?
It is a RS-232 Modem Cable 25pin to 9 pin, DB25 male to DB9 female.
You can also view a picture of connection in this doc, http://docs.hp.com/en/J6352-90003/J6352-90003.pdf .
Look at fig 1-2 on p.18.
The cable number is hard to read.
Does this work?

Re: MUX 8 port (A6748A) to modem connection
Hello,
If you want to solve the problem with one cable, you need to have the following pin-layout to connect a modem (HP has no such cable).
RJ-45 DB-25
(10-pin) (25-pin)
-------------------------
DSR 10 <---------- 6 DSR
CTS 9 <---------- 5 CTS
CD 8 <---------- 8 CD *
GND 7 -----+ *
GND 5 -----+----- 7 GND *
TD 6 ----------> 2 TD *
RD 4 <---------- 3 RD *
DTR 3 ----------> 20 DTR *
RTS 2 ----------> 4 RTS
RI 1 <---------- 22 RI
Regards,
Nico
