Main Menu displayed after added 2 HD to K570

Hi Experts,

I added 2 more internal HD to K570 server. Instead of booting from the original boot drive, now the server is displaying the "Main Menu". What do I do now?

Thanks in advance.

You could try removing them to see if it still boots.
Do you have a SCSI ID conflict between the new and old disks?

I will try to remove the newly installed 2 HDs and reboot again.

How do I identify the SCSI IDs?

Re: Main Menu displayed after added 2 HD to K570

SCSI IDs are set via jumpers directly on the back of the drive.

Since you asked for this; I assume you have duplicated IDs...

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

I assigned SCSI IDs for disk3 and disk4. Now the server booted normally. Thanks.
