Re: Manuals for I70 E35/55 ?
Not sure why HP has removed the documents from their websites? Was it hurting them?
I would appreciate if someone can share the documents.

Re: Manuals for I70 E35/55 ?
All e-classes have PA-7100LC CPUs, with 48-96MHz, 16-512MB memory, 2 or 4 I/O slots and SE-SCSI disks.
That's it.
AFAIR at the time the systems were running nobody knows about pdf's or even html yet.
I rememer I used "gopher" at this time.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Apparently these server models were introduced in 1995 or before that. The first free version of Acrobat Reader was published in 1994, so the PDF format was not very common yet.
At that time, printed manuals were still delivered as standard along with the server. It's possible these manuals were never available in any electronic format, or maybe in some other format that HP was using before PDF. Maybe nobody on HP has ever bothered to convert these old manuals to PDF for electronic publishing?

Re: Manuals for I70 E35/55 ?
I guess I throwed away anything about this old boxes. And I guess nobody wants to put hundreds of almost useless pages on a scanner ...
You still have the offer to ask a question anyway...
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
