Mapping AC line X to Cords X

Hi,

An rp7410 server shows this message sometimes:

AC power not present on line 2 in compute cabinet 0

or

AC power not present on line 3 in compute cabinet 0

The server has no problem related to this error.
Power supply looks fine.

Where is line 2 physically located ?
How does it map to the power cords A0, A1, B0 and B1 ?

Regards,

Erik

Hi,

Logon to MP and run ps command. It will more details of each power supply, fan AC line etc.

Re: Mapping AC line X to Cords X

Hi,

That's what I did:

HW status for rp7410 cabinet : NO FAILURE DETECTED

Power switch is on
Right Door is closed
Top Door is closed
Left Door is closed

Total Power Available 3600 VA
Total Power Needed 2215 VA
Power Redundancy : redundant
Power Viability : viable

Power Status

AC Line status:
Line A0 NOT PRESENT
Line A1 Present
Line B0 NOT PRESENT
Line B1 Present

Here it talks about lines A0, A1, B0 and B1.
Not line 2 or line 3.
That's why I need the mapping info.
If they relate at all of course.

A0 == line 0 ??
Or A0 == line 1 ??

Re: Mapping AC line X to Cords X

Hi,

A0, A1, B0, B1 is marked in the cabinet itself. check the those lines which are shown not present.

BPS0 - connects to A0 & A1
BPS1 - connects to B0 & B1

Since each power supply has one source now, it may work. Possibly you have MCB tripped in that circuit!

The line numbering may be depends on the grid configuration. Is both grids enabled?

Not sure there will be a fixed mapping.

Solution:

MP => CM => pwrgrd

CORDS A1 & B1
