Re: May I work with 3 processor in a rp5470_?
2) Yes, the system is capable of doing dynamic processor deallocation with HP-UX 11 loaded. You can remove a working CPU when the system is online.
3) In rp5430, you can have up to 2 processors.
4) Even in rp5430, dynamic processor deallocation is supported.

Re: May I work with 3 processor in a rp5470_?
when you add third processor to the system,
you should have second Processor support
module present in the system. One PSM
supplies power to 2 cpus.

Re: May I work with 3 processor in a rp5470_?
I stongly feel you cannot plug in a processor
when system is live. The dynamic processor
deallocation feature may be for the processor
already plugged.
Not sure, can some one from HP clarify??
