Memory Configuration

Can anyone tell me from the information in the attached file (from sysinfo)i f I have 1 or 2 memory carrier boards? We want to add some memory that we took out of another system when we upgraded it.

Re: Memory Configuration

I would say that you have 2 memory carriers. Each carrier has 2 of the 512 MB memory kits (2 DIMMS per kit).

Re: Memory Configuration

I think yes. You have two carriers and only 0a, 0b, 1a and 1b are used. You can add more memory to it provided you follow the memory installation rules.

For detailed memory and slot informations, use stm (or cstm or mstm)

Thanks for the quick replies (7 minutes from query to solution).

The system information report of XSTM verifies that I have 2 carriers, called extenders in locations 0 and 1.
