Re: Memory Part Number
you can run
echo "gop cstmpager cat\nscl type system\ninfo;wait\nil\n"|/usr/sbin/cstm| grep -e 'Current Product Number' -e 'Original Product Number'
to get the product number of your machine.
Then use it on partsurfer.hp.com and you get all spareparts listed.

Re: Memory Part Number
I need the part number off of the memory in the server at this time.
so you say run
echo "gop cstmpager cat\nscl type system\ninfo;wait\nil\n"|/usr/sbin/cstm| grep -e 'Current Product Number' -e 'Original Product Number'
Is gop correct syntax.
please confirm then i will run

Re: Memory Part Number
# echo "selclass qualifier memory;info;wait;infolog" | /usr/sbin/cstm
now you should see the DIMM size (e.g. 128MB) - so look it up now on partsurfer.
I doubt that this oooold box have the DIMM part number stored on device.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Memory Part Number
But you can also go with the other hint to get directly the product number of the DIMM.

Last version was IIRC december 2001.
Maybe your version has a problem.
However, try
cstm> sel dev all; info; wait; il
Hope this helps!

Torsten.
