Re: Memory modules

No not always, the 64K modules had 64K in white on the top side but after that you have to look at the labels. Another method of identifying is to stop your boot and when you are at your main menu prompt type "in me" and this will tell you the size of you memory and the slots they are in

Re: Memory modules

Hi,

Other method to get memory info is by running:

echo "selclass qualifier memory;info;wait;infolog" | /usr/sbin/cstm

Kind regards,

Re: Memory modules

I tried the echo "" command that you suggested but it did not work. I received a error message.

You can tell if you look at the memory get the HP 5 x 5 part number and go to partsurfer which should help you.

Or

If when you start the system, enter the boot admin screen by hitting any key after the initial test and before boot.

At the main menu type IN (info) ME (memory) which will giveyou all the details you require.
