Migrating data from Novell to HP-UX

Hi,

I need to migrate (move) users home directory’s from Novell server to HP-UX11i.
I would like to know what would be the best way to accomplish this.
Should I use DataProtector and do the "restore" to new location, or should I manual copy from existing location in to a new location.
I would like to hear your opinion on how to map the home directory from the e-Directory and Active Directory.

Hi,

It may not be possible, using DP. Cross-platform restore between HP-UX and NetWare was possible with OmniBack but not supported for DP 5.0 or 5.1 (not sure about DP 5.5). Check the Release Notes/Platform limitations for your DP version.
