Modem Cable

Hello,

I need to attach a modem to a MUX on an RP8420.

I've attached a picture of what I got from docs.hp.com and would like it clarifying.

The MUX and the modem both have female DB25 connections so I need a male/mail db25/db25 cable for the modem - mux connection.

Im having big troubles finding a part number for this item. Does anyone have a part number please ?

Many thanks,
Nick .

Re: Modem Cable

This is a standard modem cable, available at any computer store. It is also called a straight-through cable. DB-25 connectors on cables are getting harder to find since modems are virtually obsolete these days. Your computer store may have a DB-9/DB-25 modem cable, so you can also purchase a DB-9/DB-25 adapter that changes the 9pin connector to a 25pin connector.
