N Class = rpxxxx ?

I have an older N-Class machine. Somewhere along the way, HP came out with rpxxxx machines. I get the impression some of them are equivalent to N-class machines. Is that true and how do I tell what my equivalent is?

Hi Ed,

The new naming convention for HP servers is rp/rx..

This ppt may help,

Hope this helps.

Re: N Class = rpxxxx ?

Hi Ed,

The only rp that is an exact equivalent of the N-class is the rp7400.
The other rp74xx - rp7405 & rp7410 - are cell based servers that are more advanced than the N-class.

HTH,
Jeff
