Can any one help diagnose the identity of our faulty Hardware in this N4000 Server

Hello,

do you have any other errorlogs from system, is system up and running, system crash?
Logs at:
/var/adm/syslog/syslog.log or /OLDsyslog.log
/var/opt/resmon/log/event.log (only if Diagnostigs is installed)
/var/tombstones/ts99 or ts98

Please send more informations.

Hi,
oplease send also /var/adm/syslog/OLDsyslog.log
the syslog.log starts with reboot after crash. do you have an event.log?

Hello Lightfoot,

it seems like an problem at left I/O Backplane with Slot2, physical Hardware Path 0/4. PCI-Card or Backplane. Was this first crash of this system? System works fine since this crash?
You have two possibilities:
-> exchange PCI-Card
-> exchange left PCI I/O Backplane

At the moment its not possible to find out more exact which part is defective.
Try and Error.
First I would exchange the PCI-Card, its easier and not so expensive.
