Need Help to Interpret FPL Log on a rp84xx/SD-32A...
The following is a snippet of a FPL (Forward Progress? Log) on a SuperDome where we've a vPar that's consistently crashing...
Log Entry 555: 07/19/2007 07:10:29
Alert level 2: Informational
Keyword: ERR_TOC_TASK
This chassis code identifies the type of TOC encountered
Reporting Entity: System Firmware located in cabinet 0, slot 7, cpu 6
System Firmware Return Code: 0x0000000000000000
0x578003dd76e00000 0x0000000000000000
0x4b0003dd76e00000 0x01000000469f0e65
Anyone?
Are there HP Docs that are public on how to interpret FPL/SEL Logs?

Re: Need Help to Interpret FPL Log on a rp84xx/SD-32A...
TOC is transfer of control. The systems firmware takes the control (away from the OS) and initiate a reboot and memory dump.
Something goes wrong here.
I would suggest to involve HP support.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Need Help to Interpret FPL Log on a rp84xx/SD-32A...
I'm not aware of such a list.
Are there any hardware related entries in this log (CPU/IO)?
From the release notes I know some possible reasons for crashes, most are fixed by newer versions, patches, firmware.
Everything up to date?
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
