Number of internal slots for D320? Need more space.

I need to patch two D320 servers and upgrade Service Guard. Current servers have two internal 4gb drives. I need more disk space in order to begin patching. Does the D320 have any more internal slots.

I'm running 11.0 and version 11.08 of Service Guard.

A D320 should come with 5 internal hot-swap HVD disk slots, leaving You with 3 disks slots in each. maximum supported drive size is 18GB, as far as I know.

the newer disk sleds contain an HVD-SE converter, so if You're not bound to a support agreement and feel lucky, You could even try larger disks.

Jack - Florian is right. We've used larger hard drive formats ( Seagate 36G) with no problem on our D380/D390s which are no longer under support. You could probably even put larger drives. I know that our Ds have 5 internal hot-swap drive bays - but we've got 380s and 390s.

Al D3XX's have 5 hot-plug bays. You can install larger drives although if your firmware is very old you may need to upgrade it before larger drives can be used.

hi, theres plenty of resellers that can sell you the drives refurbished.
Go to hp's site and you will find alink to find an authorised reseller for hp parts near your location.
