I would like to know if I can plug an old DLT 7000 on a RP4400 server by using the SCSI card dual port A7173A

Hi,

You cann't connect an old DLT7000 ta a A7137A, this is an ultra SCSI card.
You need an FWD card for this like A4800AR or A5159BR

AFAIR the A4851A is FWD SCSI, so a A7173A cannot work, but there is no supported FWD SCSI Card for your server.
I guess you need a new drive or library.

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

You might want to try and google for a company that offers an UltraSCSI to FWD SCSI converter.
