Old GSP Download

Hi all,

It's been a while since my last post, and I come back with a question from the past :
Where can I find GSP firmware for rp5450 in a version such as A.01.69 ?

My server is a L2000 (rp5450). I have GSP Firmware A.01.12 (I believe it has never been upgraded). I want to upgrade it to the last version : B.02.21. In B.02.21 doc, I found that B.02.15 must be past first...

problem is the following : every B.XX.XX version comes with a gsp_upg.cnf file. XU command needs a upgrade.cnf file. Even if I rename it, I'm told "Fileset is not intended for GSP".

I managed to find A.01.12 firmware and it contains 3 files :
APPLICATION.ROM
BOOTSTRAP.ROM
upgrade.cnf

B.02.15 and every B.XX.XX contains the following :
B0215.bin
gsp_upg.cnf
Resources.out
version.dat

I hope an intermediate version helps to manage those new sets of files. I believe a version such as A.01.69 exists, but I can't manage to find it. So if anyone knows...

To explain everything, new versions manage different terminal types. As long as I don't have an HP console and must connect through telnet, I need this extension to get well-formed menus in cold install process.

sorry for posting : version A.01.12 has the CA option in GSP. it's an even older version (A.01.09) that doesn't. So everythings fine.

But I don't close thread, cause I find it interresting to know more about this upgrade process. In case someone need it one day :)

hi fred, the gsp for b revision and a revision are 2 different hardware. if yours is a b revision, you will need the b revision firmware.

There are 2 different models of GSP.

Revisions A latest firmware is A.1.12
Rev B latest is B.02.21

OK. I thought B was an upgrade for A and that there was an update for A.01.12. I was wrong :)
