...
Hardware type:C2708A
Hardware address:08000950cdcc
Board ID:3318C85521
...
Downloading /usr/lib/X11/700X/bin/C2708A
Can't open /usr/lib/X11/700X/bin/C2708A :Permission Denied
Boot Fail!

I have checked the file permissions and everthing seems OK. The Server HP-UX is 10.2 version.
I have make sure the network connection is OK,I can use that XT telnet to my server.
The Network has lots of XT,ALL OK,except this one. I don't know why.
and I have check this similar thread:http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/QuestionAnswer/1,,0x4a597e990647d4118fee0090279cd0f9,00.html , but no help to me.

Re: Old X-Terminal(700RX),Permission Denied when downloading file.
If this is the case, you will need to set up tftp. I belive some could also use NFS and other protocols too.
I guess hwat I'm getting at is that maybe you need to look at some configuration issue with protocol being used to get the file rather than looking at the file itself

Had this Xterminal worked before?
What version of Enware is installed?
Did you check the permissions down the entire directory tree?
Sorry about the number of questions.

Re: Old X-Terminal(700RX),Permission Denied when downloading file.
Another troubleshooting tool is the "telnet" session. Can you telnet to the file server, and XDMCP server?
Check with the networking people to make sure there have been no new equipment installed between the xterminal and the boot server (although this would not give a permissions error).
We also experiences some very unusualy behaviour when there was a network hardware component that was only working intermittently.
