is there a (free) downloadable runtime OpenGL lib for a HP 9000/879 machine (K-series) (and where) ?
Until now I found only versions for our 11.0 machine and for the 10.20 Series 700 machines.
We need it to be able to run a commercial program on our machine.
Thanks for any hint
Oliver

Just cut and paste the link to your browser. It'll take you to a registration/download page for OpenGL runtime.

Re: OpenGL runtime libs for Series 800 10.20 ?
I'll downloaded this trial package and tried to install it, but swinstall complains:
swinstall -s /tmp/b6196aa_10.20.depot \*

there is a permission problem. Check the daemon logfile and
"/var/tmp/swagent.log" on this host for more information.

======= 04/18/01 16:49:33 METDST END swinstall SESSION
(non-interactive)
It is the same message as for the Series700 package. Does it mean that also this package
is not suited for our HP9000/872 (K-Series) machine ?
Regards
Oliver

SolutionIt was bugging me not knowing so I looked in the itrc knowledgebase. Doc ID S3100008803 explains how to install it. In a nutshell you can install it by forcing the installation. Turn off enforce dependecy and script errors. Also install patches PHSS_19269 and PHSS_17225.
For details look at the ITRC Doc ID also search for keywords OpenGL 800.

But nevertheless your advice in a nutshell was enough. Now ADAMS runs.
Thanks Denver Osborn
