PA-8700+ (?) @ 875 on 11.0
Working with some Ignite restores to spare hardware and I've read a couple threads now on how you can't run an 8700+ @ 875 MHz on HP-UX 11.0. Problem is, one of my production boxes seems to be doing just that.
SAM shows:
2.0 PA8700
875 MHz
9000/800/L3000-8x
HP-UX B.11.00 U 9000/800
Any ideas how this is possible, or how I can validate that the OS is reporting correctly?
Thanks,
Ian

Re: PA-8700+ (?) @ 875 on 11.0
11.00 is a dual 32-bit & 64-bit OS. Your L3000 box is loaded with the 64-bit version, the 32-bit version will not run on the L line.
