I have a HP9000 N4000 server with 4 processors PA-RISC 8500 360 Mhz.
I want to upgrade all the processors with new ones.
It's possible to upgrade to PA-RISC 8600 or 8700? Changing processors is enough or i'll need an upgrade kit?
Thanks for the help.

Re: PA-RISC 8500 360 Mhz Upgrade
You will need an upgrade kit A5866A
Processor upgrade kit - Includes one 550MHz PA-RISC 8600 processor with 1.5MB cache and attached heat sink

SolutionA3639A
or
A3639B?
The A revision can only accept 360 & 440 MHz CPUs.
The B Revision can also accept 550MHz CPUs.
To use the 650MHz or 750MHz (8600 or 8700) you will need to upgrade to a C revision (also known as an rp7400)
The upgrade product # for that is A6750A.

Re: PA-RISC 8500 360 Mhz Upgrade
Your answers were a good help to my problem.
I'll go to 8600 550 Mhz.
