PA-RISC linux on 861/d370
I have an "old" HP 9000 D370/861 with HP-UX 10.20, that i am using for logging&monitoring. The problem is most of applications that I want to use is not suitable for the OS. I am trying to switch to linux and I was reading that parisc is the choice. Does anyone tried yet? It really works? Does the applications in general works on it? Migrating to linux is the solution?
Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Re: PA-RISC linux on 861/d370
I would install HP-UX 11iv1 (11.11) as the first choice.
But regarding Linux see

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Thanks for your reply.
I don't want to do any hardware upgrade, if possible. The box has 392 MBRAM.Will it work with v11.11

I have a small system running with 11.11 with only 195MB RAM.
Hope this helps!

Torsten.
